Measurement Tips:
- Use a real cloth tape measure. Most grocery stores and all fabric stores have then. They take more accurate measurements. Using a metal tape or a piece of string will not give a true measurement.
- Tape should be snug but not indent your skin
- When taking rise measurement #3: Tie a piece of string around your waist to help you know where to start and stop the measurement. Start at the center front waist – go between your legs and up to the top of the string at the center of the back waistline – touching crotch area slightly.
- Hip is right above top of pelvic bone around heaviest part of the hip.
- Ankle should be right above where the top of the ankle bone starts.
- All inner leg measurements are taken from crotch down to point asked for. You can measure from crotch to knee, then bend over and measure from knee to ankle.
